Yummy Easy Recipe

This is from my friend Rebecca who found it from www.bestsimplerecipes.com.  She brought some of it to work and heated it for left-overs.  It smelled so yum I had to make it myself.  Devin was kind of skeptical about it since there were snow peas (Tay~ please don’t be picky like your daddy); however, he gave it a two thumbs-up and wanted seconds (just so you know he ate the snow peas~ heehee).  🙂

Kielbasa Bow Tie Skillet

Total Time: 25 Min.

8 oz. uncooked bow tie pasta

1 pound fully cooked kielbasa or smoked Polish sausage, cut into 1/4 inch slices

1 jar (4-1/2 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained

2 teaspoons minced garlic

2 teaspoons butter

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1-1/2 cups of milk

1-1/2 cups fresh or frozen snow peas

1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

~Cook pasta according to package directions.  meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute the sausage, mushrooms, and garlic in butter.

~Combine cornstarch and milk until smooth; gradually add to the skillet.  Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.  Drain pasta; add to sausage mixture.  Stir in the peas and cheese; cook until cheese is melted.  Enjoy! 🙂
